Quick-smoking Smoker Box, which is compatible
with the Samarkand Mini Grill,
and the classic Samarkand Grill.
It can be placed on practically any other fire source, even over a gas flame.
It was made according to the principle of classic fish smokers and the so-called donabe smokers known in Japan. We place wood chips in the bottom of the Smoker Box, which starts to smoke due to the heat coming from below. When the Box has heated up and the chips are already smoking, we place the vegetables/eggs/fish/meat to be smoked in the device. The top of the Smoker Box sits in a trough with a rim around it, into which we pour water for a hermetic seal.
An excellent quick-smoking machine, where the temperature of the smoke is typically between 100-150 degrees Celsius.
